Poatina offers the nature lover a myriad of scenic bush walks, mountain bike tracks, a variety of open space areas for picnics or outdoor activities and an abundance of nocturnal wildlife.

A children’s playground, barbecue and picnic area is set in lovely parklands and the Village Green is a lovely spot to sit and watch the children run around and let off a bit of steam after travelling.

You can explore Tasmania’s only Labyrinth or discover more of Poatina’s history at the glass brick monument at the Village entrance.

Settled beneath the recently Heritage listed Great Western Tiers in the region surrounding Poatina Village, you’ll find some spectacular waterfalls and a range of bushwalks.
