Poatina Village has a number of accommodation options, from luxury 3 star Motel rooms to delightful fully self-contained mountain cottages and backpacker accommodation.




Poatina Chalet boasts spectacular views, delicious meals and warm country style hospitality. It offers 3 star luxury Golden Chain Motel rooms and has its own Mountain View Restaurant with lounge and open fire.

Each individually named room has a memorable view and comes with full facilities including colour televisions and direct dial phones. Free continental breakfasts are also offered to all Motel guests.

Guests have access to the many activities and facilities within the Village, including the highly acclaimed (and incredibly picturesque) golf course, tennis court, and swimming centre which is open during the warmer months.






Stay in one of the delightful 3 1/2 star double storey mountain cottages for a romantic getaway or childhood dream! Each 2 bedroom cottage is fully self-contained with linen provided.

All cottages have breathtaking views of the green & gold fields of the Northern Midlands and the majestic Great Western Tiers to the south and Ben Lomond Mountain ranges to the north.

Poatina also offers limited comfortable self-contained tourist houses which are the ideal accommodation option for a larger family holiday stay.

The 3 bedroom tourist houses have fully appointed kitchen facilities, colour televisions, electric blankets and bedding, as well as laundry and ironing facilities.





Budget style accommodation is available in the backpackers section of the Poatina Chalet.

Each room has 2 to 4 beds with pillows and blankets, and linen is provided. Guests share the kitchenette, communal lounge and bathroom facilities.






Being in the heart of Tasmania, Poatina Village is the ideal location for statewide conferences and group bookings. The Village's warm hospitality ensure delelegates are comfortably cared for with hearty meals and adequate facilities, so they can concentrate on the important business of the conference.

Poatina Village is able to provide full catering for up to 170 delegates. Alternatively, the Community Hall has a kitchen, servery and dining room if groups prefer to cater for themselves.
